South Haven High School will honor three inductees into its Athletic Hall of Fame this week.

The high school says the 2026 class includes Mariah Boss-Hesscott, a 2012 graduate who excelled in swimming and softball and went on to continue her softball career at Siena Heights University. She later earned a master’s degree in social work from Western Michigan University and now works as a licensed clinical social worker for Bloomingdale Schools.

Also being inducted is Joshua Cyrus Grimes, remembered for his athletic and academic achievements, particularly in basketball, before his life was cut short by cancer during his senior year in 1996.

In addition, the 1985 State Champion girls volleyball team, along with coach Dene Hadden, will be inducted in celebration of the 50th anniversary of their historic title.

The community is invited to attend the ceremony, which will be held this Friday during the South Haven High School basketball game.
