Fords F-series pickups are expected to once again win an important sales crown.
Ford says when all is said and done, it will have sold more than 800,000 F -series trucks in 2025. That should be enough, says brand manager John Walawender, to be the best-selling truck for the 49th consecutive year.
Pickups have evolved from being mostly work vehicles 50 years ago when that streak began to having multiple roles today.
“Customers like myself and others are hauling their families in addition to their gear, their boat, their snowmobiles, what have you,” Walawender said. “And then in addition to that, these trucks are becoming very advanced with new technologies.”
Pickups are so popular that in addition to being the best selling truck, the F series will again be best selling vehicle overall.
