A man from East Lansing will spend the rest of his life in prison for sexually assaulting and exploiting multiple women and children.
U.S. Attorney Mark Totten says among the victims of 32 year old Arisknight Winfree were four women, including two minors. Totten described one of the cases.
“He bound her, he put a gag ball in her mouth, and then he raped her,” Totten said. “He intended, at one point, to kill her, to hide the evidence, but was talked out of it by a friend.”
In one case, Winfree posed as a Michigan State student to connect with young women. In another case, he allegedly posted an on-line job for a baby sitter to connect with women.
Winfree was sentenced for kidnapping, attempting to rape a teen, and sexually exploiting two minors.
