The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says a 63-year-old Dowagiac man is hospitalized for his injuries after a crash in Silver Creek Township Saturday afternoon. He was hit by a vehicle driven by a man from Granger, Indiana that did not stop at the stop sign on Indian Lake Road at M-62. The Dowagiac man was headed east on M-62 and went off the road as the result of the crash.
The at-fault driver was treated at the scene for his injuries. The crash happened just after 4 pm. The extent of the injuries to both men have not been released, and the crash remains under investigation.
