One person is seriously injured after a crash with a train in Galien Township on Tuesday. The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department says it happened around 11:30 a.m. at a railroad crossing on Pardee Road near US-12. A 44-year-old Three Oaks man went around the railroad crossing arms while driving south on Pardee Road when his vehicle was hit by the westbound train. He was taken to a hospital in South Bend and was listed in stable condition. The crash is still under investigation.
