Holiday revelers who have too much to drink and find themselves with no way to get home can once again call AAA’s Tow 2 Go service this weekend. AAA’s Adrienne Woodland told us last month Tow 2 Go is a way to get towed home when you shouldn’t be driving.
“Since 1998, AAA’s Tow 2 Go has removed more than 25,000 impaired drivers from the road,” Woodland said. “The way it works is when you call, a tow truck transports the would-be impaired driver and their vehicle to a safe place within a ten mile radius.”
Woodland stresses Two 2 Go should be viewed as a last resort only. Arrange a ride for yourself in advance if you’re going to be tying one on. Tow to Go can be reached at 855-2-TOW-2-GO. It will be available from 6 p.m. Friday, December 23 to 6 a.m. Monday, January 2.
