Judy Ann Weiser, 66, of Jackson, formerly of Buchanan, passed away November 29, 2022 at Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson.
She was born to the late Joseph and Genevieve (Podlo) Bellew on January 18, 1956 in Jackson, Michigan.
Judy met the love of her life George “Mike” Weiser, and on July 7, 1990 at a ceremony in Niles, Michigan they exchanged vows and were able to celebrate 23 years of marriage before Mike passed in 2013.
She worked at Notre Dame for many years until her retirement. Judy loved to travel with her husband Mike, and they also bowled on a league for several years together. She took great enjoyment when she was younger placing a vinyl on the record player and listening to Elvis and even in her later years, she had his CD playing frequently. Judy had such a kind heart that extended not only to her family, but to her friends and strangers alike; that kind and tender heart also had a soft spot for animals. Judy cherished time surrounded by family and filled the position of a doting grandmother perfectly.
She is preceded in passing by her beloved husband Mike Weiser, her parents, Joseph and Genevieve “Jean” Bellew, and her sister Diane Bellew.
Surviving Judy is her daughter Selena (Chad “Jessie” Tatum) Weiser, her granddaughter, Rozalinda Weiser, her siblings, Joe Bellew, Michael Bellew, and Marianne (Kenneth) Spicer. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
In accordance with Judy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and her family will be remembering her privately.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Niles.
