After her husband tested positive for COVID-19, Governor Gretchen Whitmer isolated from him at their home in Lansing. She got tested with a rapid test and then a lab test and they were both negative.
“We’re continuing to work with top medical experts and health professionals at the state and federal level to increase access to testing, secure additional life saving treatments, and always encouraging every Michigander to get vaccinated and boosted, and wear a secure mask, like an N95” Whitmer said. “I hope you and your families are staying safe and healthy in the new year.”
Whitmer says her whole family is vaccinated and boosted. She says her husband has only cold-like symptoms.
