The Michigan Flywheelers Museum is teaming up with Culver’s of South Haven for a special benefit night next month.
Museum President Pat Ingalls tells us they’re raising funds for an improved entrance, backed by a $100,000 matching grant from an anonymous supporter.
“We’re building a new entrance building into the museum, and it’ll be our new ticket booth and gift shop to increase the looks of the entry going into the museum,” Ingalls said.
Ingalls as part of this effort, anyone can dine at Culver’s between 5 and 8 p.m. on March 4 and a portion of their purchase will go to the museum. Its volunteers will be there.
“We have a table that we set up to show what we’re doing as far as the museum, and then we run food, our members run food to the tables and to the cars for our drive-thru.”
Ingalls says this isn’t the first time they’ve worked with Culver’s, and it won’t be the last.
Both dine-in and takeout orders are eligible for the March 4 fundraiser, and Ingalls says those who can’t make it can still donate to the capital campaign online.
