Poll asks MI residents how to grow the state

Voters all over the state are giving their thoughts on what Michigan can do to be more competitive. The Detroit Regional Chamber polled 600 registered voters on the subject.

President Sandy Baruah says lots of respondents say the tax structure puts us at a disadvantage.

“44% say our tax structure is a competitive disadvantage,” Baruah said.

Baruah says 49% of voters polled are calling for infrastructure improvements. 40% are calling for better public education.
