Both Congressmen Tim Walberg and Bill Huizenga voted in favor of formalizing the impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden on Wednesday.

The House vote was 221-212, along party lines.

Following the vote, Huizenga said President Biden and his administration have been stonewalling requests for information from Congress as it investigates Hunter Biden.

The House is trying to determine if Joe Biden benefitted from Hunter Biden’s business activities.

Huizenga says, “As more concerning financial information is revealed, the House has a constitutional responsibility to continue to investigate and follow where the evidence leads.”

Congressman Walberg says, “This formal inquiry is the next step in a methodical process that will continue to expose facts and provide answers to the American people.” He alleges financial links between President Biden and China through his family’s business ties.

Both congressmen the impeachment inquiry will give the ongoing investigations more teeth.
