Some big winter events are coming up in downtown St. Joseph.
St. Joseph Today’s Daniele Crevier tells us three are happening on November 17. They are Luminaries, Window Wonderland, and Countdown to New Year.
Luminaries will illuminate the downtown with more than 1,000 softly glowing lights that night.
Meanwhile, Window Wonderland will take place at the same time.
“These storefronts downtown work really hard to create these awesome holiday displays, and we want to celebrate that,” Crevier said. “So, all weekend long, you can come down and see their windows, and you can vote online at StJoeToday.com/Vote for your favorite.”
Crevier says a good example is the display put on by Kilwin’s with holiday-themed treats in the window.
Countdown to New Year also begins November 17.
“What you do is you turn in your receipts that you’ve shopped at St. Joe Today businesses or local southwest Michigan businesses, turn those into us at the Welcome Center, and for every $25 that you purchase, one time or cumulative, will get you an entry to win a gift card.”
The receipts must be from St. Joseph Today partner businesses. The countdown runs through December 17.
The events November 17 start at 5 p.m. and preview more fun heading into December with Light Up The Bluff set for December 1.
