The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a motorcycle accident early this morning in Mason Township. Deputies were called to Kessington Road near Guyer Street and found 34-year-ol Steven Methe of Goshen, Indiana injured. He had crashed into a downed tree that was blocking the road. Methe was not wearing a helmet but drugs and alcohol are not believed to have been factors. He crashed just before 5 a.m. and was taken to Elkhart General Hospital in Indiana for his injuries.
