Thomas Bruce is the new superintendent of Berrien Springs Public Schools. The district tells us the board of education signed a three-year contract with Bruce last week. He replaces former Superintendent David Eichberg, who retired in June. Bruce has been the deputy superintendent with the district for about two years. The board’s plan had been to elevate him to superintendent. He was previously a superintendent at St. Joseph Public Schools.
