The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says a 64-year-old Cassopolis man hit a deer with his motorcycle yesterday. Terry Goodger was heading east on Beeson Street west of Cherry Grove Road in La Grange Township when he hit the deer in the road. Deputies say Goodger was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities say alcohol does not appear to have been a factor.
