The Dowagiac Police Department is investigating a liquor store robbery on Tuesday. It says police were sent to Northside Food and Liquor on North Front Street around 11:40 p.m. on a report of an armed robbery. They were told the suspect came in around closing time armed with a handgun and robbed the place, making off with cash. He was seen leaving on red Huffy bike. The suspect is described as a Black male, about six feet tall and thin. He had a bandana covering his face. Anyone with information on his identity should contact the Dowagiac Police Department.
