The suspect in a Sunday murder in Baroda is now dead. 60-year-old David Lee Mabry was found dead in his cell at the Berrien County Jail on Tuesday afternoon. The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department says he had  previous medical issues and there were no signs of trauma to him. Michigan State Police are now investigating the death. Mabry was charged with open murder in the death of 57-year-old Mary Mabry. Police say she was sitting in her backyard Sunday when Mabry walked up and shot her without provocation. He remained in the Berrien County Jail Tuesday after being unable to post bond following his Monday arraignment.
