A Lawton man is charged with murder in the death of a Galesburg woman who was his ex-girlfriend. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says 28-year-old Taylor Dragicevich was stabbed several times at an apartment complex on Saturday. She later died at a hospital. Now, 27-year-old Jeffery Michael Kucharski has been charged with open murder in the stabbing. That carries a penalty of up to life in prison. Kucharski was arrested after the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department searched a home in Lawton on Sunday and found evidence. Police say Dragicevich had filed a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend in March.
