Medal of Honor recipient Jim McCloughan will be honored with a monument in front of South Haven City Hall. The city council approved that at last night’s meeting. City Manager Kate Hosier says it is being donated by American Legion Post 49.
“We have a location picked out, and it has been approved by the American Legion,” says Hosier.
The monument will be similar to what is already installed honoring Dwayne Dewey. McCloughan was honored by former President Trump for his actions to save other soldiers in the Vietnam War.
