One person was injured in a house fire in Casco Township Wednesday. South Haven Area Emergency Services says it was called to a home on 63rd Street in Casco Township around 5:50 p.m. They braved ice-covered roads and found the home in flames. A short water supply had to be shuttled from the nearby Gingerman Raceway while the Ganges and Columbia Township Fire Departments provided tankers. One person was treated for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is also under investigation.
