A 19-year-old man from Edwardsburg has died in a crash in Cass County early Sunday morning. The sheriff’s department says Gage Strawderman was eastbound on US-12 when he went off the road and hit several trees just after 1 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash happened near Fir Road in Milton Township, and he was not wearing his seat belt. The investigation is ongoing as to whether or not Strawderman was using drugs or alcohol.
