Michigan’s average gas price is down slightly over the past week. Triple-A Michigan says the average is now $3.30, a 2¢ drop in the past week and 17¢ more than last month. A 15-gallon fill up now costs an average of $49. The most expensive gas in the state is in metro Detroit and Jackson at $3.34, while Traverse City’s $3.16 is the lowest.
