An 81-year-old Dowagiac man is recovering after his truck crashed into a Cass County pond on Sunday. The Cass County Sheriff’s Department says it happened on Dutch Settlement Road east of M-62 in Wayne Township around 8 a.m. Joseph Lemrow was headed west on Dutch Settlement when his vehicle left the road, hit a guardrail and tree, and then wound up in Mill Pond. Lemrow was transported by Pride Care Ambulance to Borgess Lee Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
