A family of four is dead in an apparent murder-suicide in Allegan County on Saturday.

The Allegan County Sheriff’s Department said in a report it appears a Lee Township man shot and killed his wife and two young children Saturday afternoon. Sheriff’s deputies say a father shot and killed his wife and two children before turning the gun on himself at the family residence.

At about 12:35 p.m., Allegan County deputies were dispatched to the home after a relative called 911. The man went to the residence to check on family members inside, and observed his niece unresponsive in a bedroom, through a window.

When deputies arrived, they discovered Cindy Clouse, 35, Roger Kyle Hagger, 34, and their two children, 10 and 13, dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

Police said it appears Hagger shot himself after shooting the other three victims. Official manner of death has yet to be determined, and authorities continue to investigate the incident.
