It’s the holidays, but what if you get sick? Priority Health medical director Dr. Brian Federonko says consider a virtual doctor visit.
“You should always contact your doctor first, as a lot of physicians do virtual visits,” says Federonko. “If they’re not available or your out of town you can’t get in to see them, a lot of health plans, and Priority Health is no exception, have options for people to do virtual visits with physicians, medical providers.”
Federonko says a virtual visit is a good idea for a minor issue, since emergency rooms and urgent care centers have been busy with more urgent healthcare problems.
