The Cass County Sheriff’s Department has made a holiday donation to Feed the Hungry of Cass County. Sheriff Richard Behnke says donations from sheriff’s office employees made the gift possible. The employees participate in fundraising efforts from No Shave November to Jean Fridays to have some fun while raising money for the community. The donation to Feed the Hungry of Cass County is an annual tradition of the department, and it says this year’s project raised more than $1,000. The sheriff’s department handed off the donation to Feed the Hungry this week.
