State Adds 8,831 COVID-19 Cases

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says they have confirmed 8,831 new cases of COVID-19 in the past week. That is an average of around 1,262 a day. There were 113 people who lost their lives due to COVID-19 to bring that total to 40,085 since March 2020. 69% of Michiganders have received at least one dose of a vaccine.
