A northern Michigan winery, Bowers Harbor Vineyards on Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City, is helping out with Hurricane Ian relief in Florida. Tasting room manager Bethany Poineau says many of their customers have homes and businesses in Florida that were damaged or destroyed.

“A lot of people who work here were gearing up to go there for their winter stay,” Poineau said. “Some of our members have lost that, so they’re trying to figure out what they’re going to do for the winter.”

Poineau says some customers lost businesses in Florida in the hurricane. He says you can buy a bottle at Bowersharbor.com or at the winery.
