In 1962, “The Beverly Hillbillies” debuted on CBS.  It was the #1 show on TV during its first two seasons. Granny, Jed, and Elly May are dead, but Jethro is still with us.  Max Baer is 84.

In 1964, “Gilligan’s Island: debuted on CBS. Of the seven castaways, only Ginger is still with us:  Tina Louise is 88.

1968, “Hawaii Five-O” debuted on CBS.

And in 1969, “The Brady Bunch” debuted on ABC

 

 Music History:

1969, The Beatles released “Abbey Road”.  It was their 11th album and featured their hits “Come Together” and “Here Comes the Sun.”
