The FBI “concocted” the plot to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer according to one of the men acquitted by a federal jury this spring. Brandon Caserta took the Fifth Amendment when called to the stand, however, by the attorneys for Adam Fox and Barry Croft Jr. He spoke to reporters Thursday.
“I thinks it’s sad, I think it’s ridiculous that the government is still going to try to continue to push this narrative that these people are actually terrorists.”
A jury could not reach a verdict for Fox and Croft, leading to them being retried.
