Two people are in the Van Buren County Jail after being arrested in Waverly Township early Monday morning. Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 34-thousand block of 36th Avenue on a tip that two wanted people were at the address. They found 33-year-olds Amanda Newcomb and Mark Hall and arrested them after they had barricaded themselves in the garage. The homeowner convinced them to surrender. One was wanted for a parole violation, while the other was wanted for felony larceny.
