The roof is gone from the Van Buren County Historical Museum in Hartford. Many trees have been damaged by Monday’s storm and the artifacts inside need to be moved out to be saved. The museum is holding clean up sessions Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for volunteers to help. Food donations and money are needed. Anyone who can package or carry out the artifacts are needed along with people to clean the mess inside and do work outside on the trees. The museum is closed until the repairs are made.
