Pfizer is asking the Food and Drug Administration for emergency use authorization of a COVID-19 booster shot for kids between five and eleven-years-old. The booster gave a “strong immune response” in children in clinical trials. Pfizer has emergency use approval for the two-dose COVID-19 vaccine for children.
