Research by the New York State Department of Health finds the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is not very effective for kids between five and eleven years old. They found the vaccine’s effectiveness dropped from 68-percent to 12-percent from December 13 through January 30 compared to a decline from 66 to 51-percent for kids from 12 to 17. The dosage for children younger than 12 is a third of what the teenagers receive. The Pfizer vaccine is made in Portage.
