Market Van Buren is seeking nominations for the second annual Market Van Buren Awards, a set of awards reserved exclusively for the organizations in Cass and Van Buren County that are leading the way toward a stronger economy. Market Van Buren says through March 31, it will seek nominations from the public for the Best New Business of the Year. One business from Cass County and one business from Van Buren County will receive the honor. Market Van Buren Director Zach Morris says the organization is “thrilled to have expanded the awards this year to include Cass County” as there are great things happening in both Van Buren and Cass counties. The Best New Business Award is reserved for businesses that have been in operation for two or fewer years as of January 1 and produce a product or provide a service in Cass or Van Buren County.
