Michigan State Police are investigating a fatal crash on Red Arrow Highway in Lawrence Township on Sunday. Troopers responded to the scene at Red Arrow Highway near 55th Street around 7 p.m. They learned a tow truck had been westbound on Red Arrow Highway when an eastbound Chevy pickup crossed the center line and collided head on with the tow truck. The driver of the pickup was killed and pronounced dead at the scene. He’s been identified as 33-year-old Matthew Angel of Bangor. The driver of the tow truck, a 27-year-old South Haven man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was treated at the scene and released. The crash remains under investigation.
