A three-month-old girl and a 20-year-old woman are recovering after a shooting in Benton Harbor on Sunday. The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety says officers were called to unit 177 at River Terrace Apartments around 9:15 p.m. on a report of gunfire. They arrived to learn two victims had been driven to Spectrum Health Lakeland hospital in St. Joseph. At the ER, officers found the two victims. Both were treated and released with minor injuries. Their names are not being released. Police say it’s not known if the two were the intended targets of the shooting, and the investigation is still active and ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
