HealthBar in Grand Rapids is offering a COVID-19 monitoring test for the immune system to employers and consumers. Nathan Baar, founder and CEO of the company, told Michigan News Network this week the system also provides insight into another aspect of your health.
“If you have been vaccinated, it can tell you how effective the vaccine was in producing an immune response within your body,” Baar said. “Sometimes individuals who get vaccinated don’t produce an adequate immune response to have future immunity. It can detail all of that information.”
The monitoring equipment costs $200 and is not covered by your insurance. Baar’s company joined hands with another corporation to develop the monitoring system
