This Thursday brings the annual Re-Kindle Your Christmas Spirit in Downtown Berrien Springs celebration. Set for 6 p.m. through 9 p.m., the event will feature outside musicians, ice carving, horse or tractor drawn hayrides, and tram rides down to Grove Park and back. There will also be tram rides from the public library to downtown. The downtown streets will be closed to traffic so everyone can enjoy strolling around. The 1839 Courthouse complex will be open, and there will be a live nativity downtown, a Christmas Tree lighting ceremony with a hand bell choir, face painting, children’s crafts, treats, specials in the stores and more. Not to mention, Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be at the village hall. All are invited to head to Berrien Springs to rekindle their Christmas spirit.
