More companies are offering their employees flexibility in their work schedules during this pandemic. Robert Half Staffing district director Tricia Plovie says 41% of managers give employees the ability to choose when they work.

“Anything from a flexible schedule, maybe they don’t start right at 8 a.m. depending on how their workload is. They’ve got time to schedule work windows, maybe they’ve got something going on with the kids during the day, if their kids are remote learning, they have flexibility to do their work around those times where they have family commitments.”

Plovie says there are some who are working four, ten hour days, but 72% of employees say they need eight hours a day to get their work done.
