A 57 year old Paw Paw Man is dead after drowning in a lake in Van Buren County Saturday. The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department says deputies responded to the scene at Ackley Lake in the village of Paw Paw around 2:20 p.m. They learned the victim had disappeared underwater, and found several boats looking for him. After more searching, the victim’s body was found. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
