1883 The Brooklyn Bridge over the East River is opened. It connected the cities of New York and Brooklyn for the first time in history. It’s construction took 14 years to build. BTW. A guy by the name of George Parker became famous for selling the Brooklyn Bridge, sometimes as often as twice a week.
1985 James Bond’s View to a Kill premiered in the U.S. The 15th movie in the series, it starred Roger Moore at 007.
