President Joe Biden will use his first joint address to Congress tonight to pitch a $1.8 trillion investment in children, families, and education. U.S. Senator Gary Peters of Michigan says he wants to hear about the investment in infrastructure.
“I want to hear more about how he sees that going forward,” Peters said. “We all know we need to be fixing roads and bridges across our state, but he’ll also be talking about other kinds of investments that are essential in the 20th century. Things like making sure everybody has access to high-speed broadband internet.”
Peters also expects President Biden to talk about the pandemic and the need for people to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
