St. Joseph City Commissioner Jeff Richards marked a milestone Monday night.
“Today would be the last meeting of my 37th year on the commission,” said Richards. “The elections were held at a different time when I first started.”
Richards used that to discuss the upcoming election this year and make an announcement.
“I will not be running for reelection but I intend to fill the rest of the term. It’s been a wonderful experience.”
Mayor Pro Tem Laura Goos thanked Richards for his time and said when he was a big help to her when she started her first term.
