The Niles Police Department is investigating a couple of suspicious incident, one involving indecent exposure. It says both happened Wednesday. The first report was about a man in a vehicle who made sexual comments and exposed himself to a 25-year-old woman in the 900 block of Michigan Street around 2:30 p.m. He’s described as as a back male in his 50s in a silver passenger car. About a half hour later, a black male in a silver passenger vehicle drove alongside an 11-year-old girl in the 1400 block of Hickory and asked her if she needed a ride, then telling her to get into the car. The girl told the suspect no, and a passerby realized she might need help and got her to safety as the silver vehicle drove away. This man never exited the vehicle. Police say it’s not known if the two incidents are related, but investigators have been working to gather more information.
