Bridgman Public Schools Superintendent Shane Peters has been rated as highly effective during his annual performance review with the Bridgman Board of Education. The board also unanimously agreed to provide a three-year extension on his current contract through June 30, 2023. The school district says 2020 has been a challenging year that required quick changes in the way learning was administered. With the outbreak of COVID-19, the board says Peters responded quickly to create and execute a COVID-19 Pandemic Plan. The board credits Peters with creating an effective plan to keep staff and students safe, and for working with building and district administrators to meet the needs of students. The board thanked Peters for his work on behalf of the school district.
