The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a crash between a semi and a Buick in Watervliet. Deputies say Ernesto Garcia of South Haven turned the semi south onto County Line Road from an open field, and Robert Clem of Hartford slammed into the back of the rig. The 58-year-old was dead at the scene, and his Buick was badly damaged. The final report will be submitted to the Berrien County Prosecutor for review.
