A crash in Benton Township just after midnight Wednesday morning killed a 63-year-old Benton Harbor man. Township police say he was the driver of a Ford Explorer that was hit by an Audi at M-139 and Highland Avenue. The Audi took off after the wreck, and one of its passengers was later taken to Spectrum Health Lakeland for her injuries. The Ford driver was pronounced dead at Spectrum Health Lakeland, and his 51-year-old female passenger remains hospitalized. Police are still seeking the Audi.
