Human Trafficking Forum Set For September 22

The Southwest Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force and Spectrum Health Lakeland are holding an online forum later this month on human trafficking. It is free and will include tools and steps to help people engage with victims. Participants will hear from keynote speakers Andy Soper, director of education at Measurable Change, and Kelly Carter, assistant attorney general in the criminal division of the Michigan Department of the Attorney General. Breakout sessions will be held following the opening speakers focused on information for parents, educators, community members, law enforcement, and child protective service professionals.
