A 71-year-old Chikaming Township man is facing a variety of charges after a drug bust last week. The Southwest Enforcement Team says its detectives and officers from the Chikaming Township Police Department, the Unites States Postal Inspection Service, the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department, and Michigan State Police raided a home on Friday. Michael Vernon McNair Junior was the target, and police say they found 60 grams of cocaine, around a half ounce of fentanyl, and several bags with unknown powder. They also found a stolen handgun. McNair was taken to the Berrien County Jail on charges including possession of cocaine with intent to deliver and possession of Fentanyl with intent to deliver.
